Today was the general election for Prime Minister of the kingdom. His Majesty, the king, Don Guillermo II was at the polls casting his ballot, as was Her Majesty, Dona Fiorella XIII, the queen. The king has made clear his choice for prime minister in the weeks leading up to the election.

Don Rafael Burlescone, the duke of Rentado, is the king's personal choice.

Official Retraction

The press release, released by the office of Her Majesty, Dona Fiorella XIII, the queen, erroneously showed the wrong person as Baron Escalante, the queens new personal secretary. The young man in the pictures swam on board the queens yacht and spent three days hiding in her suite before he was discovered and arrested.

The office of Her Majesty, the queen, Dona Fiorella XIII announces the hiring of Don Ricardo Martineaux, Baron Escalante, as her new private secretary. Papparazzi for various, dubious publications has taken photographs of Her Majesty Queen Dona Fiorella XIII and the Crown Princess, Dona Giselle Victoria Catalina, Princess of Dos Islas, the wife of H.R.H. Don Eduardo, the crown prince. The two are vacationing with other members of the royal household in Southern California.
